I seem to have some sort of bug bite on the bottom of my foot.
My official position on this situation is that I am: Not Pleased.

I was mentioning this to Brittney earlier, and realized I should share the knowledge and share it with everyone. I know you'll all be excited. Especially the guys.
So. If you know me, you know that I love wearing eyeshadow, but also that in reality I don't wear make up all that often. Well, this past Saturday, I went to a 6-year-old's birthday party. And I wore eyeshadow. Pretty purple and pink. This isn't really all that interesting, except that, after 6 hours at this party, where it was 90 degrees outside and I had three separate bouts in the Bounce House (which, by the way, gets *really* hot), I looked in the mirror. And my eyeshadow was still perfectly in place. No fading or smudging or anything.
To what can I attribute this miracle in the world of beauty products?
Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
Seriously... that, I feel was really putting it to the test and boy did it pass.
I highly recommend it.
I will say, as a follow up, if you are very much into blending, this stuff makes is a bit tougher since it is designed to make the eyeshadow stick where you first put it... but you can still do some blending. Benefit also makes an eyeshadow primer called F.Y.eye that is quite good. In my experience it is not quite as hard core and the Urban Decay stuff (although still good), but does allow the blending thing to be easier.

I will say, though, that I'm happy.
And tomorrow, I will be even happier because I will receive a certain super-cool-awesome thing via FedEx. And then I will use said super-cool-awesome thing to make more super-cool-awesome things. And then I will share them with you. And everyone wins.

2. Plenty of cold, filtered water
3. Comfy pants
4. Comfy bra
5. Temp of apartment at 70 degrees maximum
6. Space in the room to do Yoga
7. Crunchy snacks
8. At least one season of a TV show on DVD
9. Someplace squishy to sit
10. And, of course, the right frame of mind.

Update, 8:15 am: Exact Target is my least favorite software tool that I've ever used in my life.
Also: Today I am wearing bright pink striped knee high socks to work. Because I can.
I am currently eating freshly baked buttermilk biscuits with honey butter and boysenberry preserves. And I'm drinking spearmint-lavender tea.
Yeah, life is okay.
